Eden Nature Park

I had a wonderful time following a mountain trail for a short but steep 4 km hike in the 80 hectare resort of
Eden Nature Park  in Davao, Philippines. Crossing hanging bridges under a canopy of 100,000 pine trees on mossy steps beside cascading waters on large boulders, it's a perfect place to explore the great outdoors.

There are affordable day tour packages that include an entrance fee and a meal (buffet lunch or snacks) should you prefer not to stay there overnight. Click here for the fees. Be sure to make reservations by phone call a day before or earlier, due to limited visitors allowed within the premises.  For those having difficulty walking or climbing steps, a guided shuttle tour will give you a lift around the resort.

However, I highly recommend going beyond one's comfort zones by discovering the beauty of the flora and fauna on foot.

Lola's Garden
At the rose smelling Lola's Garden sits a native hut called bahay kubo overlooking the city of Davao.  Next to it is the country's national animal - the carabao.

There are also other recreational activities that might interest you such as; horseback riding, fishing village visit, swimming, skyrider (zip line). The resort also caters to weddings, honeymoons, events and team building activities.

I can't believe five days have passed since I've been here.
Have a beautiful week everyone!

XOXO,
Arni
