What Happened Offline

Our home is very sandy.  The sand crept in between door gaps despite the rubber fillers. There were on and off medium to mild sandstorms the past several days. It's still blowing sand outside so to speak. Imagine a light drizzle but with sand.  You're absolutely right, it is a nightmare to clean.  Apologies for my long online absence.  The husband is away on business this week. I was away from the computer and was mostly indoors (at my place or at a friend's) except for this one.

Watched the sunrise.  I accompanied the husband before going to the airport last Sunday  para-motor up in the air when the sky was clear.

Visited a dear friend for a cup of tea.  This is her place that I helped decorate.  We're not finished yet. We still have to purchase throws, pillows and rugs and two more dining chairs.

Food + Movies on the Couch.  Spending time with friends  as we bonded over food (one was an all day breakfast) and then enjoyed  watching action films together.  I'm going to meet  former colleagues later for dinner.

De-cluttering and organizing paperwork. Check out Design Gourmande for a post.

Enjoyed a full day at IKEA for organizing all the closet and cabinet spaces at home.

Tea and coffee.  Lots of them.  I'm getting addicted to tea more than coffee now. I don't know why.  Maybe because it's calming after all the coughing.

Just some snippets of what happened while I was away.
I can't wait to read your blogs.  The ones I've missed.
Have a beautiful Wednesday!
XOXO,
Arni

  1. It seems that you have a very nice time out of bloggig Arni! That's also good from time to time!

The sunrise picture is very beautiful and that pizza looks delicious (I so love pizza!)

I also went to Ikea when on holidays, just because I never have the chance to go here as I don't have a car and I discovered a new favourite tea flavour: vanilla green tea!

Have a nice week and stay safe from those sand storms :)
