UAE
Dubai Museum
How was your weekend? Great thing about having family and friends over for a visit is the chance of discovering touristic sights that we, expats, tend to take for granted. I've been living in Dubai for ten years. It was only this weekend that I got to see Dubai Museum. Please allow me to give you an overview of what Dubai Museum offers, with a silent blog. Here goes...
There's an underground wax-work like exhibition
and the gourmande should always include a picture of the Food Shop.
The museum is definitely well worth the visit.
Have a happy and productive week!
XOXO,
Arni

Looks like a wonderful place! Hope you had a lovely week with the in-laws!
ReplyDeleteMust be wonderful having family over. I sometimes love being a a guide for overseas guests because I get to do touristy things that I don't normally do as a local. I love museums, so this is on my list when I visit Dubai.
ReplyDeleteI agree that Dubai Museum is well worth a visit. I remember being fascinated by those wind towers - an early form of air conditioning and such a clever idea.

It looks like an interesting museum and somehow different from western standars with part of the exhibition out under the sun. I think it must be really nice way to learn about earlier life and history of the emirates. And the food shop is lovely!
ReplyDeleteHope that you had a great time with family :)
