Dubai Quickie Tour

I'm happy to share the snapshots with you, while touring my brother in-law, his wife and daughter around Dubai. They seem to be enjoying the sun very much, upon briefly leaving behind the cold winter in France. December to March is the perfect season to visit.

The french words are starting to come back to me. The first day was a big battle of conjugations. By the end of yesterday evening, my brain just shut down and gave up. (Yes, a definite nosebleed)  However, today, I managed to translate in french each dish on the big menu of a restaurant. (Happily, they received their expected order).  Je suis très contente!

    You will have noticed from my blog posts that I visit Dubai quite often and it's always lovely to see photos of my favourite places. I'm always amazed just how many restaurants there are and at this time of year it's a treat to be able to eat al fresco!

    Have a wonderful weekend you too and enjoy the quality time with your loved ones. And don't stress that much about French, if it's there, it'll come back. I know exactly how you feel because I have the same experience when I go to Germany. If I think about sth for a while I'll say a perfect sentence but when I'm trying to follow a normal conversation I simply can't seem to find the words :)
