Giant Log Swing

I've always wanted to try the Giant Log Swing at Wadi Adventure in Al Ain.  I said no to it last year after watching people free fall, while they're attached to a giant log.  This year, when my husband got us Cobone deal entry tickets to the Air Park, I thought of the quote "Do one thing everyday that scares you." I thought to myself, "How bad could it get?"  Dismissing second thoughts, I signed up and queued under 48 degree Celsius heat. Watch this unedited video what happened  during out turn.

Yes what a cheeky guy, he didn't even count one to three. :)

Wadi Adventure is an adventure theme park located very close to Jebel Hafeet, offering a man-made white water rafting, kayaking and surfing facility. Surfing waves can reach 3.3 meters height and the white water rafting  pool changes current yearly running 1.13 km in length.  An Air Park offers two levels of rope course, zip line, climbing wall and of course, the Giant Log Swing.

I never thought it would be possible to do white water rafting in the desert. It surely is.

Good to see that you're enjoying your free days in the weekends! Even if you're still at 48 degrees, that's so hot!

  9. Ah! I can't believe you did this! I hate heights - as in I DESPISE them. But I told myself I'd do something reckless like this to face my fears one day, and you've totally inspired me!
