Los Guapos

If you're wondering where to eat in Coron, Palawan, Philippines, here's another interesting discovery.

Los Guapos. It was among the list of restaurants to visit on Trip Advisor. It wasn't there yet when I visited early last year. Much to our curiosity and a mood for Mexican cuisine, we were happy to have found the place.

It is located at the ground floor of Casa Coron Hotel along Calle Real, Poblacion 2, right across Coron Eco Lodge. It is hard to miss.  This inviting and well-lit  place opens up to the street.

Mexican Food On the Go / Love that Quote / Surf Bench
Love the Al Fresco Seating
We enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and fast service
Carne Asada Burritos
The bestseller here is the Carnitas Burrito (Php 148 . USD$ 3.30) made of pork.

My husband and I both ordered Carne Asada (Beef) Burritos (Php 168 / USD$ 3.75). It was better than we expected. Add bottles of the local beer, San Miguel Pale Pilsen to this meal and there you go, one perfect vacay dinner. This is something we don't have in the Middle East, the freedom to enjoy meals with a fresh cold beer. So, yes, we made the most out of this trip by consuming lots of it with our food.

Is this a place you might enjoy?
Which Mexican food is your favorite?
Happy weekend!

  3. This sounds like a great, casual restaurant to enjoy while on holiday. I like Mexican food and it's the ideal food to share. There tends to be a lively atmosphere in this kind of restaurant too. I love those quotes - good advice!

    1. I came back again to visit this restaurant recently and order burritos again and I still enjoy the vibe there, despite converting half of the old restaurant space into something else.
