The Market at the Beach

After a really hard month, thank God, my husband finally came home. Though the battle is not over yet, we welcomed a short break by the beach with my daughter, husband and sister-in-law visiting from France. We hope to put everything behind us very soon once the court hearings are over.

This weekend, a quick trip to "The Beach"at JBR or Jumeirah Beach Residence Saturday market was a refreshing breeze. The perfect sunny weather and gorgeous newly constructed beach side restaurants and shops  make it a worthy-to-visit tourist destination.

Here you will find fresh organic fruits and veggies, arts and crafts, bonsai plants, locally made soap,  local street food, freshly baked bread, small stalls from nearby restaurants marketing their food and many more. There are picnic tables facing the sea where visitors can enjoy their purchases.

Are you fond of weekend markets?
Love & light,
Arni

  2. There is one here in Salcedo, Makati but I've never been there, despite the fact I've lived in Makati for three years now. Maybe I should schedule a trip there soon. The weekend market there looks interesting, and clean!

  5. We were at The Beach again last month and it's such an interesting area. However, the market had not yet started which is a shame as I love to have a wander around a good market and all this produce looks so fresh and attractive. I'm pleased to hear that you had a lovely day out and that your husband is now home. I hope everything is soon back to normal for you.
