BOXPARK

You'll be noticing an avalanche of places in Dubai this week in the hopes of seeing as much as we can before we leave. Plane tickets have been booked today. We are ready to depart on Sunday evening. Let the countdown begin.

When driving along Al Wasl Road right after Safa Park, you will notice cargo containers that are artistically positioned and used to create an urban retail district that is called "BOXPARK" Recently opened as one of the latest projects of Meraas Holdings.

This hip and modern architecture focuses on the natural aesthetic of these shipping containers using the finest technology to achieve impressive detail and finishing. The lighting blew me away and as seen, I couldn't keep my hands away from the camera.

Of course visiting the retail destination is not complete without checking out at least one shoes store and I found Toms! The most comfortable shoes I have tried on for as long as I can remember. This bag is also a stopper. I did ask what this bag can do and I was told purchasing this can improve the lives of others. Ok, so I'm smitten. Unfortunately, their flats were all sold out. I'm coming back for you Toms one day.
