It's the end of the week. I'd like to leave you with captured images of different skies for the weekend. Spend a minute or two. Take a deep breath and exhale. Stare up at the sky appreciating the splashes of colors and shapes while being thankful for the things that brought you happiness this week.
A Father and Son Journey to Nepal

My husband, Yohann and his father went on a trip together two years ago. When he mentioned to me that he would like to travel to the Himalayas, I thought a father and son adventure in Nepal would be perfect. I've decided not to go. I wanted them to have this amazing moment to cherish together. I watched them prepare for their expedition. Both were excited as I bid them goodbye at the airport. While I'm supposed to be conducting research for our next travel itinerary, I couldn't help writing another blog post. You might be thinking- "She's traveling again?" Yes. I often receive questions from friends and acquaintances how I can afford it. So I'll dedicate today's post with a few tips for funding wanderlust.
Travel Fund
The husband and I started this a long time ago. Just as we had a "Food Box" (It's an actual box with a budget per month that we use for grocery, eating out, and household expenses). Similarly, we have a separate fund that we use for traveling. After reviewing our overall salary, we allocated our budget. Creating a travel fund and managing it well, worked out very well for us.

80's Flashback Party

The 80s. A very colorful era. My girlfriends and I decided to throw a Post-Valentine Party last Friday with our partners in tow. We dressed up, after rummaging our closets (some in the New Yorker store) for something that could closely resemble an outfit in the 80s.
