Les Maisons d'Itac

Les Maisons d'Itac is a high-end Bed and Breakfast situated deep within the remote fishing village of Barangay Sta. Cruz in Ronda.

It was originally a private vacation home. Beach villas were originally built for the owner's visiting guests, which was then later converted into a resort. The hotel is in fact named after their dog, Itac, whom you will have a chance to meet walking around like a boss. :)

The main pool highlights the garden facing the sea canopied by coconut trees and lush greens.  The welcoming hotel terrace offers a view of both the pool and the beach.

The room designs vary from beach front studios to traditional bamboo suite, a stylishly designed family room, as well as 2 and a half bedroom beach villas having its own private swimming pool and garden enclave.  This secluded property is laid out in such a way that the guests optimize their stay in full privacy and ultimate relaxation. There is very little chance of bumping into other guests and if it does happen, it is rather a pleasant experience.

A hotel designer friend from the U.S. stayed here for 3 nights along with his friends. I remember receiving his message,  expressing how happy he was that I recommended this hotel.  He felt sad leaving. He would have wanted to stay longer if it weren't for his already booked airline tickets.

I have had the privilege to tour the resort. Hammocks, wide terrace lounge areas, gazebos for outdoor dining and a great cup of coffee in a garden paradise. I love the positive air here.  The laid back vibe that will lull your senses to a state of calm.  It gives you this distinct feeling of never wanting to leave the place.
