An hour of bliss. The sound of waves as you focus on your breath.

We had family visiting from overseas and for an introvert like myself, I needed some time to re-fill my cup so that I may continue hosting and entertaining with ease.

We went to Oceanfront Paradise along Panagsama Beach in Moalboal, Cebu, Philippines where our Yoga Teacher, Marina led an invigorating 1-hour Sunset Yoga. With calm background music, we went through the flow under coconut trees that swayed with the breeze.

Flabbergasted at the Airport

Mactan -Cebu International Airport

It was 2AM. The trip that often takes 3 hours to get here to this side of the city only took us an hour and a half from where we live. The roads were empty. Our sleepiness vanished as soon as we laid eyes on the International Airport of Mactan.

The Best Waterfall I Have Ever Seen

My youngest sister ecstatically gushes, "To date, this is the best waterfall I have ever seen in my life!"

I paused and wondered for several seconds and yes, I found myself nodding as well, "Me too!"

3 Different Faces of Osmena Peak

I daresay nope, not really.

I think each place we visit changes. It depends on who we are with, the season, the circumstances, the moods we are in and the experiences we have created.

My college bestfriend, Zepy of Travel Explore and Beyond and a new found friend, Arlen, traveled to Cebu for the Easter Weekend. I was happy to play tour guide. The perks of doing so, I get to see places I would otherwise miss. After conquering Osmena Peak and driving along the coast visiting fascinating heritage churches from Argao to Oslob, we decided to spend one afternoon in an off the beaten location.

I Touched the Clouds

For many years, staring at the clouds from my airplane window on my way to business meetings has always brought me peace. It was a break from anxiety of confronting problems that needed solving or people that needs impressing. Watching the clouds brought me back to simple memories of childhood laying on the grass and watching them move. I always wondered if I could ever touch them someday. To my surprise, I did.

My pilot husband invited me to go for a flight one sunny Sunday afternoon. He wanted me to experience riding the gyrocopter just like any of his passengers would. Nothing more, nothing less.

You see, I have a fear of heights. This is my way of dealing with my fear, by getting myself into height defying activities such as skydiving, parasailing, zip lines and the like. I had to swallow the ball of anxiety in my chest and said yes.
